If you’ve ever woken up feeling like you slept on a slab of concrete, you’re not alone. I’ve been there, tossing and turning, dreaming of a mattress that feels like sleeping on a cloud. That’s where the Puffy Cloud Mattress By Puffy comes in. After years of testing various mattresses, I finally got my hands on this one, and let me tell you, it’s a game-changer—but not in the way you might think. It’s not just about softness; it’s about support, cooling, and durability. Here’s my honest take after months of sleeping on it.
What Makes the Puffy Cloud Mattress Stand Out?
The Puffy Cloud Mattress By Puffy is designed to mimic the feeling of sleeping on a cloud, but it’s not just about plushness. It’s a memory foam mattress that balances softness with support, thanks to its multi-layer construction. The top layer is a cooling gel-infused foam that regulates temperature, which is a lifesaver for hot sleepers like me. Beneath that is a pressure-relieving layer that contours to your body, followed by a firm base layer for stability.
Key Features at a Glance
- Cooling Gel Foam: Helps dissipate heat for a cooler sleep.
- Pressure Relief: Reduces aches and pains by contouring to your body.
- Motion Isolation: Minimizes disturbances from a partner’s movements.
- Hypoallergenic Cover: Ideal for allergy sufferers like me.
My Experience: The Good, the Bad, and the Puffy
Let’s start with the good. The first night I slept on the Puffy Cloud Mattress By Puffy, I noticed how it cradled my body without making me feel stuck. I’m a side sleeper, and the pressure relief was noticeable—no more waking up with a numb shoulder. The cooling gel foam also lived up to its promise; I didn’t overheat, even during a summer heatwave.
That said, it’s not perfect. If you’re someone who prefers a firmer mattress, this might feel too soft initially. It took me a few nights to adjust, but once I did, I was sold. Another minor issue is the initial off-gassing smell, which is common with memory foam mattresses. It dissipated within 48 hours, but it’s something to be aware of if you’re sensitive to odors.
Who Is This Mattress For?
Honestly, the Puffy Cloud Mattress By Puffy is ideal for:
- Side Sleepers: The pressure relief is a game-changer for hips and shoulders.
- Hot Sleepers: The cooling gel foam works wonders.
- Couples: Motion isolation means you won’t disturb your partner.
If you’re a stomach sleeper or prefer a firmer surface, you might want to consider other options. Puffy offers a firmer model, so it’s worth checking that out.

Is the Puffy Cloud Mattress Worth It?
After months of testing, I can confidently say the Puffy Cloud Mattress By Puffy is worth it—but with a few caveats. If you’re a side sleeper or someone who struggles with overheating, this mattress could be a game-changer. The pressure relief and cooling features are top-notch, and the 101-night trial period gives you plenty of time to decide.
However, if you prefer a firmer feel or are on a tight budget, you might want to explore other options. Puffy’s firmer models or competitors like Competitor B could be better fits.
Ultimately, the Puffy Cloud Mattress By Puffy delivers on its promise of a cloud-like sleep experience. It’s not perfect, but for the right sleeper, it’s a dream come true. If you’re tired of restless nights and want a mattress that feels like a hug, this one’s worth a try.
