If you're a sports fan like me, you've probably found yourself asking, "Does Fubo have TNT?" more than once. It's a critical question, especially when you're trying to catch live NBA games, AEW wrestling, or other TNT exclusives without a traditional cable subscription. I’ve spent a fair amount of time testing FuboTV to see if it delivers on its promise of being a sports-first streaming service, and here’s what I’ve learned.
Does Fubo Have TNT? The Short Answer
Yes, Fubo does have TNT. In my experience, TNT is included in Fubo’s base package, which is a relief for anyone who’s tired of missing out on major sporting events. However, there’s a bit more to it than just a simple yes or no. The availability of TNT can vary depending on your location, and there are a few nuances to consider before you commit to a subscription.
Why TNT Matters for Sports Fans
TNT is a cornerstone for sports enthusiasts, particularly for NBA fans. It broadcasts a significant number of regular-season games, playoff matches, and even the NBA All-Star Game. Additionally, TNT is home to AEW Dynamite, a weekly wrestling show that’s gained a massive following. If you’re into sports, missing out on TNT means missing out on a lot of action.
Fubo’s Channel Lineup: A Closer Look
Fubo’s channel lineup is one of its strongest selling points. When I first signed up, I was impressed by the variety of sports channels available, including ESPN, FS1, and of course, TNT. Here’s a quick breakdown of what you can expect:
- Base Package: Includes TNT, ESPN, FS1, and other major sports networks.
- Add-ons: Fubo offers additional sports packages like Fubo Extra and Sports Plus, but these aren’t necessary for TNT.
- Regional Sports Networks (RSNs): Availability varies by location, but TNT is consistent across the board.
Location Matters: TNT Availability on Fubo
Here’s the thing: while Fubo does carry TNT, the channel’s availability can depend on your geographic location. In my case, living in a major city, I had no issues accessing TNT. However, friends in more rural areas have reported occasional blackouts or unavailability. It’s worth checking Fubo’s website to confirm TNT is available in your region before signing up.
How to Check TNT Availability on Fubo
- Go to Fubo’s official website.
- Enter your ZIP code in the channel lineup tool.
- Look for TNT in the list of available channels.
Fubo vs. Other Streaming Services: TNT Comparison
To give you a clearer picture, I’ve compared Fubo’s TNT offering with other popular streaming services. Here’s how they stack up:
| Service | TNT Availability | Base Price | Sports Focus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fubo | Yes | 74.99/month</td> <td>High</td> </tr> <tr> <td>YouTube TV</td> <td>Yes</td> <td>72.99/month | Moderate |
| Hulu + Live TV | Yes | 76.99/month</td> <td>Low</td> </tr> <tr> <td>Sling TV</td> <td>Yes (in select packages)</td> <td>40/month | Moderate |
💡 Note: While Fubo is pricier than some competitors, its sports-centric approach makes it a top choice for fans who want TNT and more.
What I Like About Fubo’s TNT Offering
Having used Fubo for several months, there are a few things I genuinely appreciate about its TNT integration:
- Reliability: Streams are generally smooth, with minimal buffering during live events.
- DVR Feature: Fubo’s Cloud DVR lets me record TNT shows and games, which is a lifesaver when I can’t watch live.
- Multi-Device Support: I can watch TNT on my TV, laptop, or phone without any hassle.
Where Fubo Falls Short
Honestly, no service is perfect, and Fubo has a few drawbacks when it comes to TNT:
- Price: At $74.99/month, it’s one of the more expensive options on the market.
- Regional Restrictions: TNT availability isn’t guaranteed everywhere, which can be frustrating for some users.
- Contract Flexibility: Fubo doesn’t offer long-term contracts, but the monthly cost can add up quickly.
After months of testing and comparing, I can confidently say that Fubo does have TNT, and it’s a solid choice for sports fans who want reliable access to the channel. While it’s not the cheapest option out there, the combination of TNT, other sports channels, and features like Cloud DVR make it a worthwhile investment for me. If you’re primarily interested in TNT for NBA or AEW content, Fubo delivers—just double-check its availability in your area first. Whether you’re cutting the cord or looking for a better streaming solution, Fubo’s inclusion of TNT is a big win in my book.
